discussion
The nrLSU sequence derived from RET 444-9
matches that of GenBank HQ539665. The latter sequence
was derived from a collection made in
Massachusetts.
This species falls into a genetic grouping that includes
A. pseudovolvata and dolichopus. The
group requires further work on species resolution and the
correlation of genetic and morphological characterization
of taxa.
