The cap is grayish brown at first, dark brown at maturity, with striations extending 25-40% of the cap's radius.
gills
The gills are marginate.
stem
The stem is decorated with black fibrils.
spores
The spores measure (11.9-) 13.1 - 15.5 (-18.4) × (11.2-) 11.8 - 13.8 (-17.5) µm and are subglobose to broadly ellipsoid and inamyloid. Clamp information t.b.d.
discussion
Note: It is not known whether the spore measurements of the material seen to date (which had rather common bisterigmate basidia and was in distressed condition when the spores were measured fresh) is typical of this species. It is quite possible that the measurements are atypical.—R. E. Tulloss

intro
Olive text indicates a specimen that has not been
thoroughly examined (for example, for microscopic details) and marks other places in the text
where data is missing or uncertain.
The following material is derived from original research of R. E. Tulloss.
lamella trama
subhymenial base without notably inflated cells (e.g., slightly inflated, intercalary hyphal
segments may be present)
Each spore data set is intended to comprise a set of measurements from a single specimen made by a single observer;
and explanations prepared for this site talk about specimen-observer pairs associated with each data set.
Combining more data into a single data set is non-optimal because it obscures observer differences
(which may be valuable for instructional purposes, for example) and may obscure instances in which
a single collection inadvertently contains a mixture of taxa.
