then 10YR 3/2, then 10YR 4/2 to margin, slightly tacky,
becoming planar with slight umbo; margin not
appendiculate, striate (0.4 R); context white,
3 mm thick.; universal veil absent.
lamellae
free, "distorted" at stipe, close, "whitish," 3 - 6 mm
broad, acute, with light grayish brown fibriate edge;
lamellulae not described.
stipe
150 - 210 × 8 - 18 mm, color?,
narrowing upward, covered with fibrillose 10YR 6/2
scales with fine lines extending from apex;
context
white, hollow; exannulate; universal veil as
ample saccate volva, white.
Scattered through mixed Pinus and hardwood forest.
