That this species belongs in section Amidella
sensu stricto is demonstrated by molecular study.
The nrITS sequence derived from RET 081-5 is a 100% match
to GenBank MH281877 and MK966422, which were not
identified as of 1 March 2021.
This species has previously been called "Amanita
sp-F05" in these pages.
